Tangerine square

So, your kids don’t want to eat lentils! Here I have the solution. It’s a delicious dessert! Yes, I know desserts have sugar, but these one also has a lot of protein, so you decide, they will love it.

  • 3  eggs
  • 1 cup cooked lentils (Crimson or Canadian, the orange ones)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 medium tangerine or 2 of the little ones
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Step 1

Put everything in a blender, yes everything except the egg shells, unless your tangerine has many seeds, if so take them off.

Step 2

Poure the liquid into a 9×12 baking pan. Bake at 350 ° F (175 ° C) for 35 minutes. Take it out and let it cool, then cut it into squares and sprinkle some sugar.
